Under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program in Punjab, interest-free loans worth 72 billion rupees have been provided to more than 62,000 families. A record was set by disbursing loans worth 14 billion rupees in a single month.
According to details, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program is ongoing in Punjab. So far, more than 62,000 families have been provided interest-free loans worth 72 billion rupees.
According to the report, a record was also set by distributing over 14 billion rupees among 19,677 families in a single month.
The Housing Department says that a total of 8,400 houses have been completed, while over 51,000 are still under construction. In July alone, 3,215 houses were completed. Thousands of people have already moved into their homes.
It is worth noting that inflation is at its peak across the country, including Punjab. In such circumstances, owning a home has become a dream for salaried and middle-class individuals.
In this situation, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program is receiving tremendous appreciation, and a large number of citizens are seen lauding the government’s initiative.
