Actress Dua Zahra has clarified her statement about liking cricketer Babar Azam, making it clear that she is not going to marry him.
Speaking on a podcast, Dua Zahra said she feels hesitant to talk about Babar Azam because her previous comments were misunderstood and taken out of context. “I said something else, but it was presented differently,” she explained.
Dua Zahra stated that she admires Babar Azam as a cricketer and respects him, but has no intentions of marrying him. “I never said anything like that,” she emphasized.
She further shared that the false rumors linking her to Babar Azam deeply upset her family. “My parents were very worried. I even showed them the original clip to prove that I didn’t say anything wrong,” she added.
It’s worth mentioning that in an earlier program, Dua Zahra had expressed her love for cricket and mentioned having a crush on Babar Azam. She had said, “My heart falls for only one, and that’s Babar Azam. I don’t like it at all when people troll him. Please don’t criticize him.”
