A seven-month pregnant woman was tortured to death by her in-laws in Manawala area of District Sheikhupura on Saturday.
According to police, girl named Iqra was married in Manawala where her husband along with his family members tortured her black and blue.
The injured woman was taken to the General Hospital in Lahore in a critical condition after torture where Iqra succumbed to her injuries.

Earlier, the in-laws left the hospital after the pregnant woman’s condition deteriorated.
Later, Iqra’s family protested at the Lorry Adda against the brutal torture and murder of their daughter.
