Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal strongly reacted to a fake video questioning her gender identity, saying that asking a girl to prove her womanhood is an extremely painful moment.
Recently, the actress gave an interview in which she was asked questions about the matter. She was asked: “What is your reaction to the video in which your gender was questioned?”
Referring to the fake video circulating on social media, Momina said that it was a clip from an interview she gave in August 2022, edited and made viral in a misleading way. The video has been viewed over 45 million times.

She said that during that time, reporters were calling her and she was confused about how to respond, wondering how anyone could ask such a question of a woman.

The actress added that people around her were advising her to issue a clarification, but she thought, “Should I give out my doctor’s number?” The whole situation was very strange.

In the end, Momina said that if the claim were true, she would have accepted it, but since it wasn’t, how was she supposed to respond to such a lie?

It is worth noting that a video of Momina Iqbal went viral on social media, in which she was allegedly seen speaking about her gender.

Why question someone for being a girl?
A video recently posted on social media—intended only to increase views—claimed that Momina Iqbal is not a girl but a transgender person, a claim that those who know her have condemned as shameful.

Interestingly, several such videos have appeared on social media making the same claim. However, Momina Iqbal has not taken legal action against anyone so far. Her fans believe she should pursue legal measures against such individuals so that no one can exploit her identity for profit in the future.
