The missing 14-year-old son of Balochistan Assembly member Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch has reached his home in Gwadar on Wednesday. He had gone missing from the Malir Saudabad Karachi area on Tuesday.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman’s father-in-law and the child’s grandfather, Muhammad Adam, has confirmed that Abdul Basit has reached his home in Gwadar.
Basit suddenly went missing from the Hanafia Farooqi Mosque located in the Saudabad police station area.
He had left the madrasa to go to his relatives living in Karachi’s Orangi Town, but did not reach home. The case of his kidnapping was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Adam. Baloch.
The plaintiff told the police that his two grandsons, 14-year-old Abdul Basit and 16-year-old Abdul Wahab, have been studying in the Hanafiya Farooqi Mosque, Saudabad, for the past year.
“My younger grandson suddenly disappeared from the madrassa without informing anyone. I searched for my grandson a lot, but he was not found. So a legal action should be taken, “the plaintiff had told police.
The police had started searching for the child after registering the case.
