White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt acknowledged the preliminary intelligence report from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regarding the damage caused by U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities but labeled it as “flat-out wrong” and a deliberate attempt to mislead.
According to details, the White House strongly reacted to CNN’s report suggesting partial damage to Iran’s nuclear program. In a statement issued by the White House, the press secretary said that the documents were “top secret” and were deliberately and secretly leaked to the media.
She stated that a low-level, unsuccessful member of the intelligence community, whose identity remains unknown, leaked the report to CNN. The disclosure of this alleged assessment is an insult to President Donald Trump and an attempt to damage his credibility.
“This act is an attempt to tarnish the sacrifices of those brave pilots who completed a remarkable mission to destroy Iran’s nuclear program.” She added.
The White House press secretary stated that everyone knows when you drop fourteen 30,000-pound bombs precisely on target, it results in total destruction, not partial damage.
