Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, a giant sacrificial bull JF-17 Thunder caught everyone’s attention in Hyderabad’s Liaquat Colony. This bull, weighing about 40 Maunds (1600 kg), was sold for a record price of Rs5 million.
According to Dialog Pakistan, the bull was bred in the name of Pakistan’s famous fighter jet JF-17 Thunder by local cattle trader Shahrukh, who was seen celebrating the successful deal.
A special marquee was erected on the occasion of the bull’s departure, while the buyer’s convoy was warmly welcomed in the form of a traditional procession. On this occasion, guests and hosts garlanded each other with notes and flowers, and also gave gifts of Sindhi Ajrak.
The size and beauty of the JF-17 Thunder attracted people from all over the city, where a large number of citizens not only came to see it, but also took selfies with it and were seen praising it with devotion.
Although such grandeur and colorful celebrations attract the attention of the public, Islamic scholars remind us that the real spirit of sacrifice is piety and seeking the pleasure of Allah.
A sacrifice made with sincerity and intention, no matter what the cost, is considered the best in the court of Allah Almighty.
