UAE introduces new 6-month entry visa: Check out eligibility, application process

In an effort to enable outstanding individuals in the world, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has unveiled the ‘Blue Residency Visa,’ a multiple-entry visa valid for 180 days, targeting people who are presently staying outside of the UAE.

Who is eligible?

1. Individuals who made contributions to the areas of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
2. Scientists and researchers, with impressive contributions in the fields of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
3. Investors and businessmen who work in the areas of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.

How to apply?

The authority has specified a four-step process for applicants using its Smart Services platform and mobile application (UAEICP). The steps are as follows:

1. Complete the required information and upload all necessary documents
2. Pay the applicable fees
3. Submit the application
4. Receive confirmation of the transaction via email

Required Documents

•  A valid passport copy (with at least six months’ validity)
•  A recent colored personal photograph
•  Supporting documents proving eligibility for the Blue Residency
