Several air routes in the airspace of Lahore and Sialkot have once again been closed to commercial flights, while Karachi Airport has also suspended flight operations amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to details, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), stating that several air routes in the airspace of Lahore and Sialkot have been closed for commercial flights.
According to the NOTAM, some air routes will be temporarily unavailable due to operational reasons. The routes in the airspace of both major cities will remain closed until 12 PM today. In the Lahore Flight Information Region, seven routes have been closed for commercial aircraft.
The NOTAM further states that commercial aircraft landings and take-offs at Sialkot Airport will also remain suspended until 12 PM. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has mentioned in its NOTAM that some scheduled flights may be affected due to this measure.

Additionally, flight operations at Karachi Airport have also been suspended temporarily, further impacting domestic and international schedules. Authorities have not yet provided a timeline for the resumption of services at Karachi.
Relevant airlines have also been informed in this regard, and passengers have been advised to stay in contact with their respective airlines for the latest updates on their flights.
