The newly constructed helipad is designed to enhance emergency medical response capabilities. Located within the third phase of the Saudi expansion of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, which was recently completed, it marks a significant step forward in delivering prompt and effective medical assistance to the millions of pilgrims who visit the site each year.

The modern helipad is specifically tailored for air ambulance operations, enabling fast patient evacuation and transport to nearby hospitals. This development is especially vital during peak pilgrimage periods like Ramadan and Hajj, when the influx of pilgrims can place considerable pressure on existing medical resources.
