In a shocking development, the police in Sialkot have discovered the bodies of five newborn baby girls in trash dumps across various areas over the past two weeks.
As per details, District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, following a tip, found the body of a baby girl in the trash near Adda Stop, Daska on February 15, 2025.
The rescue team discovered the bodies of four more newborn girls in Kharta Sayedan, Pasrur Road, Dalwali, and Bhaer Pulley. Tragically, many of these bodies had been mutilated by animals.
The information about these grim discoveries was relayed to the police by the Rescue 1122 staff. Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Faisal Shahzad informed that two of the bodies were found within the jurisdiction of the Saddar police station, while three were located in the Cantonment police station area. The police have registered murder FIRs against unidentified individuals responsible for abandoning the newborns.
DPO Shahzad said that City Circle Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tariq Mehmood and Saddar Circle DSP Noman have been tasked with investigating the cases and apprehending the perpetrators.
