What will be the duration of the shortest and longest fasts in Karachi this Ramadan?

As the days continue to become long and nights to become short nowadays in the region where Pakistan is located, the duration of all fasts will not be the same this Ramadan in the country. The first Ramadan will be the shortest one while the last one will be the longest in all parts of the country.

Today is the first of Ramadan in Pakistan.

In Karachi, today’s Sehri time, as Fiqa-e-Hanafi, is 5:37 am while the Iftar time is 6:36 pm, so the fast duration is 13 hours today, however with the passage of every day the Sehri time will come down while the Iftar time will go up, and on 30^th Ramadan the Sehri time will be 5:7 am while the Iftar time will be 6:49 pm and the fast duration will be 13 hours and 42 minutes.

So, the shortest fast in Karachi, as per Fiqa-e-Hanafi, will be of 13 hours while the longest one will be of 13 hours and 42 minutes.

Sehri and Iftar Timings for Ramadan 2025 (Hanafi)

Similarly, as per Fiqa-e-Jafria, the Sehri time on first Ramadan is 5:27 am and the Iftar time is 6:46. So, the duration of first fast is 13 hours and 19 minutes, while the duration of the 30^th fast will be over 14 hours as the Sehri time of last fast is 4:57 and the Iftar time is 6:59.
