According to details, Pakistan Railways issued a notification regarding the fare increase, stating that a 5% hike has been implemented in the fares of all classes, including economy. The price increase will also apply to outsourced trains.
The notification issued by Pakistan Railways states that the revised fares will be applicable from February 5, 2025 (tomorrow). The 5% increase in fares will apply to tickets for all train classes, including salon services and outsourced trains, as reported by national media.
Reasons for the fare hike
