I mean, I don’t know why, but you don’t feel the need to respect your parents the same way. As a daughter, you take your parents for granted. With your in-laws, you can’t do that.” She further added, “And later on, things changed – because today, I feel more like a Bachchan than a Bhaduri.”

When asked about her parenting style, Jaya revealed that she had always been a strict mother to her children, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan. Why should I be strict with her? I’m sure her mother has done that for her.”
