Dubai has introduced Golden Visas for outstanding educators who have shown exceptional performance and made significant contributions to the city’s private education sector.

This long-term residency is available to educators in early childhood centers, private schools, and international higher education institutions.

On World Teachers’ Day, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the initiative on social media, expressing gratitude for teachers’ dedication to shaping young minds.

Eligibility Criteria

Educators from early childhood centers, schools, and higher education institutions may qualify for the Golden Visa if they meet criteria such as:

Demonstrating exceptional academic achievements and innovative contributions to education.
Proven success in enhancing the quality of education within their institutions.
Positive impact and recognition from the broader educational community.
Documented improvements in student outcomes, including academic progress and recognized qualifications.

Specific Criteria for Teachers and Faculty

Teachers in schools and nurseries, along with higher education faculty, may qualify based on additional criteria, such as:
