A highly unfortunate incident occurred at the popular tourist destination of Nathiagali, where a local mob attacked a tourist family. The attack was carried out by local drivers and hotel employees.
According to Nathiagali police, the altercation began over parking between the tourists and local hotel owners. As the tourists, who had come from Peshawar, were leaving, their vehicle was surrounded by local taxi drivers and hotel staff.
Police reported that the tourist family hails from Peshawar. A video of stones being hurled at their car went viral on social media, prompting police action.
The DSP stated that as the Nathiagali police intervened, hotel owners became involved. The local group began throwing stones and hitting the tourists’ vehicle with sticks, forcing the family to flee in fear.
