Naushahro Feroze: Police have arrested one suspect involved in the brutal attack on a woman two days ago, where her legs were broken with axes.
According to the police spokesperson, the woman had filed for divorce from her husband in court. This action angered her father, uncle, and other relatives, who began threatening her to withdraw the application.
Despite the threats, the woman did not retract her divorce application. Two days ago, the suspects attacked her at her mother’s house. They assaulted her with axes, resulting in both her legs being broken.
Following this horrific incident, local police registered a case against six suspects, including the woman’s father and uncle.
The arrest marks a significant step in the investigation, and efforts are ongoing to bring all perpetrators to justice.
