Famous and well-known social welfare leader Sarim Burney has been arrested by the FIA for human trafficking.
The Federal Agency arrested him from Karachi Airport for human trafficking and other serious crimes.
The report quoted FIA sources as saying that Sarim was being watched for a long time. When he arrived at Karachi Airport from America, he was arrested.
The legal team reached outside the FIA office to meet the arrested social welfare leader. FIA and foreign agencies have conducted a joint operation to arrest him.
In the past, Sarim Burney, the owner of Sarim Burney Trust, could not be arrested on the basis of insufficient evidence, but now after his arrest, he is being investigated by the FIA office.
The legal team reached outside the office but the lawyers of Sarim Burney Trust say that they are trying to go inside the office but are unable to to meet Sarim.
The lawyers say that they had also filed a petition against the FIA. So far, the serious charges against Sarim Burney have not been revealed so that it can be known on what charges Sarim Burney has been arrested.
