‘Umro Ayyar’ aka ‘Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning’ has officially set a release date for June 2024.
The upcoming Pakistani fantasy film is releasing on Eid-ul-Azha which is Sunday i.e. June 16, 2024. Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning movie is based on the classical Urdu-Persian novel Hamzanama’s character, Umro Ayyar, a thief and legendary warrior of Tilism-e-Hoshruba.
The movie features Sanam Saeed and Usman Mukhtar. Besides them, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring luminaries such as Faran Tahir, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui, Simi Raheal, Sana Fakhar, Manzar Sehbai, Daniyal Raheal, Salmaan Shaukat, Osama Karamat, Uloomi Karim, Asad Chaudhary, Atif Rehan Siddique, Muhammad Imran, Bilal Jutt, Ruman Ali, and Shehroz Sanaullah.

Umro Ayyar is a thief and the most famous character of the Hamzanama after Amir Hamza, the titular hero of the epic. He’s known for his cleverness and theft in the city ‘Tilism-e-Hoshruba’. His life is full of adventure. It is his habit to travel around the world and to face evils and bad spirits. Umro has a magical zambeel (bag) from which he can extract whatever he wants. He mostly uses it to show off and to kill evil. He steals money and helps people of the needy.
