Actress Mariyam Nafees has expressed her opinion about men marrying more than once.
Talking on a TV program, the actress said that she respects that Islam allows a man to have four marriages. The actress said, “I personally think that there are very few women who can bear the fact that their husbands marry again.”
She said, “If my husband wants to marry again, I will not forbid him, but I will ask him for divorce.” Nafees also said that if a person is not happy with his or her marriage, then he or she should definitely end this marriage and get married again or marry a third time. “So it is difficult to do justice between more than one wife at a time as this is also clarified in our religion,” she said.
She got married to Amaan Ahmed, who is a film maker not very long ago and the couple has a beautiful love story. They got married on March 25, 2022.
