KARACHI: The Hindu community is celebrating the religious festival of Holi today, full of colour and joys, all over the world including Pakistan.
According to the details, the Hindu community celebrates the festival of Holi every year which starts with the arrival of spring season. The Holi celebrations which started today will continue for two days. Children and adults participate in the colourful Holi.
On the first day of Holi, the Hindu community observes various religious rituals, while on the second day, dry and wet colours are applied to each other. Throwing colors on each other and filling all the adults and children with colours is a special tradition of this festival.
The largest number of Muslims live in Pakistan, along with Christians and Hindus, and minorities also actively participate in the country’s development. The Hindu community is abundantly settled in various cities of Sindh.
Especially in Tharparkar, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Karachi and Mithi, the Hindu community celebrates Holi along with Muslims. The political leaders of the country also congratulate the minorities on the festivals of other minorities including the Hindu community.
