Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ will have a clash at the box office after sequels such as ‘OMG 2’ and ‘Gadar 2’ had the same clash back in August.
Both movies have released today i.e. December 1. The question and curiosity remain the same of the audience which movie will do better at the box office?
Talking about ‘Animal’, the movie has had a tremendous response ever since advance bookings opened and is currently miles ahead of Sam Bahadur in terms of projected opening day revenues.
As per a post on Sacnilk Entertainment’s page on X, approximately 5 lakh tickets of Animal had been sold through advance bookings indicating a possible opening day revenue of Rs 14 crores.
Sam Bahadur on the other hand in the meanwhile had managed to sell about 38,556 tickets indicating an opening day revenue of a little over a crore.
Animal
Animal revolves around a troubled father-son relationship, set in the backdrop of intense action and bloodshed which turns the son into a violent psychopath. The film follows the story of Ranvir, a conflicted young man whose loyalty to his formidable gangster father Vijay clashes with his own moral principles. When Vijay becomes the target of a rival gang, Ranvir faces a pivotal choice: either stand by his father’s criminal world or reject it entirely. This decision sets off a chain of events that has lifelong repercussions.

Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the movie stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles. Moreover, the movie will also feature Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Suresh Oberoi in supporting roles. The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam all over India.
Sam Bahadur
Sam Bahadur is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, a decorated Indian officer who was Chief of Army Staff and part of five wars for the nation.
Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army from the front leading to Bangladesh’s liberation.
