International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Chemical Weapons is being observed today with the aim of preventing the spread of chemical weapons and promoting public awareness against chemical weapons.
According to details, chemical weapons were used for the first time in human history during the First World War (1914 to 1918). According to a careful estimate, 1.7 million people were killed and 20 million injured in this multi-national war, but the bloodshed and the worst destruction did not stop there.
World War II (1939 to 1945) also created new stories of killings using chemical weapons. At the same time, America dropped atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki due to which these cities suffered such destruction and destruction that there is no precedent in the past.
The current era has taken a more dangerous turn. Today’s chemical weapons are many times more deadly and destructive than those of the last century, capable of destroying multiple cities at once. The United Nations has directed to celebrate the World Day against Chemical Weapons on November 30 every year.
Every year, World Chemical Weapons Awareness Day is celebrated under the auspices of the United Nations, whose aim is to arm mankind against chemical weapons war, and conflict and to promote awareness among people for peace and harmony.
The Day of Remembrance for All Victims of Chemical Warfare must also be a day of resolve to end the use of these repugnant weapons, once & for all.

The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in his message on the occasion of the World Day, says that the World Day in memory of the victims of chemical weapons should also be the day of the end of such weapons forever. Let the use of chemical weapons be a thing of the past.
