A man was beaten to death with cricket bats after a fight broke out among youth playing a match in Lahore on Sunday morning, local media reported on Monday.
The horrific incident took place in Lahore’s Gujjar Pura neighbourhood after some children fought during a cricket match.
Nasir Butt, 45, was fatally beaten with a cricket bat by unknown individuals, according to the police. The children of Nasir Butt got into a brawl while playing cricket, police said.

Unknown males entered and abused the youngster. Later, they repeatedly struck Nasir with the same bat, killing him.
Nasir’s body was shifted to the morgue by police and an investigation was launched into the murder case. Police said raids are being conducted to arrest the culprits.
In May, two persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when members of two families traded fire over a children’s fight in Karachi.
