Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ is set to release in December 2023 and fans are already talking about its digital rights and on which OTT the movie will stream.
Backed by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, Dunki is expected to hit the screens on December 22. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal.
Post its theatrical run, the digital rights of the movie has been reportedly sold to JioCinema for a whopping amount worth Rs 230 crore. It is also being reported that the deal is the highest digital sale ever.

As per reports, Dunki is based on the concept of ‘Donkey Flight’, an unlawful backdoor entry technique for nations like the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, Dunki depicts the lives of Indians who choose to enter the nation using this illegal process and struggle to return home. In the movie, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the role of a Punjabi guy who faced the flight of immigration.
Moreover, the movie makers recently announced the launch date of Drop 2 today and also the movie’s first song, Lutt Putt Gaya. The news was shared by Shah Rukh Khan alongside a poster featuring himself and Taapsee Pannu. Sharing the news, SRK wrote, “Tere Dil Mein Tent Lagaunga Tere Ishq mein Goteh Khaunga Main toh gaya… Lutt Putt Gaya 30 days to the journey of Love….#Dunki. #DunkiDrop2 – #LuttPuttGaya song out tomorrow!”
