Pakistan’s ex-cricketer in a recent media interaction has made a derogatory remarkagainst Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.
It all started during an event based on ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 where Abdul Razzaq in the presence of Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul made a comment about Aishwarya Rai. A video of his statement has surfaced on the internet wherein he was seen at an event with former Pakistani players Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and others.

Pakistan’s media was questioning the team’s recent performances in the ICC World Cup 2023, but Razzaq gave a shocking example to target the Pakistan Cricket Board. “Right now a lot of talk here is surrounded around the Pakistan team and the players’ performances in the World Cup. I think we do not have the intention to polish and develop the players.”
He then went on to say, “If you think that I will get married to Aishwarya (Rai) to have a well-mannered and virtuous child, then that can never happen. So you have to correct your intentions first,” Razzaq said in Urdu which led to a loud cheer from the audience.
Many of the social media users were clearly displeased with what he said about the actrss and condemned his statement on social media aswell. Pakistan cricket team and the board have been facing a lot of backlash from fans and former cricketers back home after they suffered five defeats out of 9 ODIs in the World Cup.
