Cast
Jawan features Shah Rukh in the dual role of father and son. It boasts an ensemble cast with Nayanthara playing the role of a fearless cop, and Vijay Sethupathi as a menacing villain.
The film also has Priya Mani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, and others as the supporting cast. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt will be seen in a cameo appearance.
Release date
Netflix reportedly secured the OTT rights for Jawan in a staggering deal worth Rs 250 crore. Although they haven’t officially confirmed the release date, sources close to the production suggest that Jawan might be released on November 2. However, another report claimed that Jawan might be released on either October 28 or 29, 2023.
Extended version
According to Zoom, an additional 20 minutes will be added to Jawan on OTT. This includes some deleted scenes, including a major action sequence that was cut down for the theatrical release.
The OTT runtime will increase from its original 2 hours and 45 minutes in theaters to approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.
