Begging is also a profession and if you don’t know how to do anything, stand at any intersection or traffic signal with your hands outstretched, any good man will walk away putting a 10 rupee note in your hand, take it! You’ve got a professional beggar certificate.
Professional beggars are in high demand as they are “earners” and earn a hefty daily sum of money for their employers, the “contractors” who drop off the beggars in different areas of the city.
Recently, the “sad” news was heard that a group of beggars and human traffickers flying to Saudi Arabia under the guise of Umrah were offloaded at Multan Airport. Although they were going abroad to make the name of the country bright.
The biggest problem of our country Pakistan is that whoever wants to make the name of this nation bright, is put on a hard line. The spokesperson of FIA said that in the investigation regarding 8 passengers, it was known that they wanted to go to Saudi Arabia to beg there.
FIA said that the passengers had planned to reach Saudi Arabia with the help of agents. Half of the alms money was to be given to the agent and Pakistani agents were ready to receive the passengers when they arrived in Saudi Arabia.
However, the FIA did not allow these beggars, who wanted to make the country famous by begging in Saudi Arabia and offloaded them. However, no such incident was heard for years before this. Why? It also has an interesting story behind it.
A few days ago, the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis was told that a record 90% of the beggars who are arrested around the world belong to Pakistan, which surprised the Senate Standing Committee.
Pakistani beggars go out of the country the most, these “fertile ideas” do not come to the minds of the beggars of other countries. Most of the beggars go to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas.
Secretary Overseas Zulfiqar Haider said that the majority of pickpockets caught from inside the “Haram Sharif” are also Pakistanis. Professional beggars go to places of pilgrimage to beg and thousands of beggars have been deported so far.
Our biggest problem as a nation is that we are not allowed to get an education. Zulfiqar Haider said that some time ago Japan needed 340 thousand skilled people, India sent 1.5 lakh, and Nepal 91 thousand skilled people, but only 200 people from Pakistan reached Japan.
He also said that we have 50 thousand unemployed engineers, Saudi Arabia does not need unskilled laborers but skilled laborers. There are 3 million Pakistani laborers in Saudi Arabia.
The fact is that in the last 76 years, if attention had been paid to education and training in Pakistan, Pakistan would not have produced beggars, but would have produced skilled workers and, to day it would be easier for us to send skilled people out of the country instead of beggars to brighten the name of the country, but alas, we failed to do so.
