Mahira Khan has revealed that she is suffering from a mental illness called manic depression.
The actress recently gave an interview to Frieha Altaf for her podcast FWhy during which she shared all the struggles she has seen in her life.
Mahira Kahn also revealed that she is suffering from manic depression. After what went down as Raees was getting released and that picture with Ranbir Kapoor was released, Mahira Khan was trolled, threatened, and criticized from both sides of the border.
The actress shared this was when she had a full-blown episode and she had to go on medicines to get better. She shared that the first time she had such a big panic attack that she fainted.

According to the actress, she is still on medicine and she has found a good therapist who has helped her move forward

Manic depression is a mental illness that causes unusual shifts in a person’s mood, energy, activity levels, and concentration. These shifts can make it difficult to carry out day-to-day tasks. There are three types of bipolar disorder.
On the work front, the actress will soon be seen in a drama serial titled ‘Razia’. Produced by Hina Aman, the drama will feature Mohib Mirza, Mohsin Ali, and Momal Sheikh.
Directed and written by Mohsin Ali, the mini-series will air on Express Entertainment TV. However, the release date of the series has not been released yet.
