The students of a renowned Pakistani University have recently faced huge public backlash for celebrating a grand Holi festival this month on June 12th.
The pictures and videos of the festival have been circulating on social media in which university students can be seen celebrating the Hindu festival.
Previously, a Holi event, held at the University of Islamabad, got great hype on social media. Many Facebook users condemned it, however, a few people praised the university students for promoting interfaith Harmony; let’s have a look at the video.
The celebration of the Holi festival in the Pakistani university by Muslim students was not appreciated by the public. The users expressed their concerns regarding the celebration of a Hindu festival by the majority of Muslim students.
