‘Fake Profile’, a new wild Colombian romantic thriller is the newest addition to Netflix, and in no time the show became one of the top ten trending shows on online streaming platforms.
After watching the show, many called it a messy but yet binge-watching series on Netflix so far. So will there be a season two of Fake Profile? Here is everything we know so far:
Plot
Fake Profile follows a woman named Camilla who is a cabaret dancer in Las Vegas and meets her Prince Charming named Fernando through a dating app. He claims to be a cosmetic surgeon in Columbia.
After an idyllic romance, she plans to surprise him only to end up trapped in a false paradise when Camila surprises Fernando with a visit to his home in Cartagena, Colombia only to discover that Fernando is Maguel and has been living a lie and hiding his true identity.

Heartbroken and determined to uncover the extent of his deception, Camila decides to move in next door to Fernando, hoping to unravel the web of deceit he has spun.
“Willing to do anything to find out who the man she met really is, the young woman desperately seeks the cheater’s real identity and makes him pay one by one for each lie he told her and each promise he made. Little does Camila know that she is entering an intricate labyrinth of appearances that deceive, dragged into forbidden sex and powers that kill.”

The way how the show has ended, there is no official word on whether Netflix has planned to renew ‘Fake Profile’ or not.
The series was released to Netflix on May 31, so it’s not exactly surprising that we haven’t heard any renewal news just yet.
