Security personnel deployed in the border adjacent to South Waziristan foiled an infiltration attempt of TTP terrorists.
According to reports gathered by MM News from unofficial sources, the terrorists were preparing to cross the border for the past few days. However, last night, the security personnel identified the movement of terrorists and targeted them when they were trying to cut the fence.
In the exchange of fire that followed, several terrorists were killed and injured, while the remaining terrorists were forced to flee back to Afghanistan. This was yet another incident in which security forces have diligently guarded the borders and thwarted the nefarious intentions of terrorists.
Sources privy to the achievements of the security forces told MM News that the TTP has suffered heavy casualties in several terrorist infiltration attempts in recent years. This time as well, their attempt was foiled, and they had to retreat back to their bases. The security personnel posted on the Pak-Afghan border deserve credit for their timely action that averted a potential security threat.
