Bilawal’s  clear-cut stance on Kashmir issue in India

MM News Staff by MM News Staff

Reading Time: 2 mins read

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has shown a mirror to the Modi government on the occasion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting in Goa, India and said that Pakistan has a firm and clear stand on Kashmir. India has to come back to the position of August 4, 2019 regarding Kashmir and also has to create a favorable environment for dialogue between the two countries.

Pakistan and India are two neighboring countries of the world who are each other’s worst rivals. Moreover, both countries have the atomic bomb, the deadliest weapon in human history. There is intense rivalry and enmity between the two countries and its roots are rooted in the great incident of partition of India in 1947. The tragedy is that despite the passage of 75 years, the two countries have not been able to get out of the bitterness of the partition of India and despite fighting many bloody wars, they are still standing on the border of the worst enmity.

In this historical background of fierce rivalry and enmity, this region of South Asia, where Pakistan and India are located, has become the flash point of a nuclear war and the situation is that there is a danger of nuclear war every moment. In the midst of ongoing tensions, even the slightest spark of an accident could ignite the threat of a dangerous nuclear war.

There are many fundamental differences and conflicts between Pakistan and India, the foremost of which is the issue of Kashmir. There have been regular war of 1965 and 1999 and innumerable skirmishes between the two countries on the issue of Kashmir itself, and this issue is still a cause of intense tension between the two countries.

It is clear that India is occupying Kashmir like Israel is illegally occupying the land of Palestine. Pakistan refuses to accept the illegal occupation of Kashmir by India and is a supporter and advocate of the freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir against the Indian occupation in accordance with international laws and UN resolutions, which the occupying India is not digesting in any way. After trying other tactics including direct wars and skirmishes, it has been using the blame of terrorism as a weapon against Pakistan for a long time after failing to dissuade Pakistan from advocating for Kashmiris.

India’s foreign policy now revolves around the point that Pakistan should be pushed back on the issue of Kashmir by leveling allegation of terrorism against it. And to prevent its state terrorism and worst human rights abuses in Kashmir from being exposed to the world, but in this effort too India will have to face failure like other cunning tricks.

Pakistan’s young foreign minister, while taking the advantage of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing position on the Kashmir issue and told to Indian leadership that their tactic to blame Pakistan for terrorism has now lost its ability to provide further support to escape from facing the facts.  It is better for India to give up its foolish stubbornness and senseless culpability. The world has come to know that the Indian elite is shying away from embarking on a peace journey with Pakistan just to gratify their egos.
