A fire that broke out at Mehdi Tower on Shara-e-Faisal on Friday morning has been brought under control, after which the cooling process is underway.
According to fire brigade officials, the fire broke out on the second floor of the 12-story building, which reached the roof and engulfed the entire building.
Fire officials said that everyone in the building has been safely evacuated, but the cooling process may take some time. According to fire brigade officials, a snorkel and three fire tenders took part in the firefighting operation.

The fire brigade officials said that the offices located on the 3rd to 4th floors of the building have been damaged by fire. The building adjacent to the affected building caught fire last month.
Earlier, a fire broke out in a multi-storied commercial building near the nursery on Shara-e-Faisal. It should be noted that regarding the fire in the 16-storey building, the Chief Fire Officer had said that the fire started in the panaflex installed in the building, which engulfed the entire building.
