KARACHI: Hassaan Niazi, nephew and focal person on legal affairs for former premier Imran Khan, has been booked in Karachi for inciting people to revolt against national institutions.

This came just a day after district and sessions court in Quetta handed over Barrister Hassaan Niazi, the nephew of former prime minister Imran Khan, to Punjab police on one-day transit remand.
According to details gathered by MM News, complainant Muhammad Iqbal approached police station in Jamshaid Quarters, alleging that
Hassan Niazi was involved in inciting people to revolt against national institutions and attempted to provoke disharmony in a video on social media.
As per the FIR, Hassaan Niazi attempted to stir up unrest in a social media video by inciting people to rebel against national institutions, and that his comment caused resentment and anguish among the populace.

The FIR states “Hassan Niazi had said that if Imran Khan is arrested, no Haji or Hafiz will be taken care of.”
