What is behind the curtains?

Riyatullah Farooqui by Riyatullah Farooqui

After doing one after another blunder, PTI chief Imran Khan’s love of blundering is not ending. So much so that he must also understand that their every blow is not only going empty but on the contrary, is causing political damage to PTI. So they should give up this series and spend some days in peace. There are such veils on the intellect that not even a single thing is understood that not everyone has party affiliation. In every country, the majority are people who are unaffiliated. They play a key role in any movement or electoral success. Such people throw their weight in favor of political parties based on their performance in government or the strength of their stand on any issue. Imran Khan’s actions reaching the limit of stupidity are not only causing these unaffiliated people to remain indifferent to him, but a large number of PTI workers themselves are now moving away from him.

We can see on social media that their defenders are now few and far between. Just a year ago, the situation was that if someone wrote something related to PTI on Facebook or Twitter, dozens of youthias would come to defend it. God is witness that after weeks on our Facebook page we saw two people who came to Imran Khan’s defense to use foul language. The question is, why are their workers leaving? The answer is that it is no longer possible for them to defend successive political failures. You cannot constantly use workers as slaves. And in such a case, they cannot do it at all when they are facing continuous political failures. In this regard the workers have to face taunts which are enough to psychologically break their courage.

Every political leader in the world is aware that incremental political gains play the most important role in mobilizing workers. Every success fills them with new enthusiasm and excitement. Encourages to go further. During the movement, this feeling keeps them fresh that their hard work is not going in vain.

They are getting closer to their destination day by day. But whenever the political leaders see that small successes are not being achieved step by step before the big success, they stop and wait for the moment when the public opinion starts to resent the policies of the government. This is when people automatically turn their attention to the opposition.

We all know that when Imran Khan came to the streets after the end of his government, his goal was to somehow hold elections before the retirement of General Bajwa. He believed that in such a case, his powerful “workers” sitting in the two holy institutions would once again ensure his victory like in 2018. It is clear from the secrets that have come to light after the retirement of General Bajwa that this idea of Khan Sahib was not wrong. Powerful people sitting in both holy institutions were sitting ready for this. Even General Bajwa was facilitating them. But even in these adverse conditions, the PDM government not only failed Imran Khan on the streets, but the government was also able to keep the behind-the-scenes powerful on the backfoot. Not only this but when November came, the last blow of General Bajwa was also foiled by the government through which he was trying to make General Shamshad the Army Chief.

The command of the Pakistan Army is with the same General Asim Munir, who was once expelled from the ISI by Imran Khan and his group. And this is the first time in the country’s history that a former army chief is shamelessly cleaning up with the help of journalists as soon as he retires. Now, if it is not the success of PDM, then what else can be said that the project of Imran Khan is intertwined? The main pioneers of this project were two. Imran Khan on the road and General Bajwa behind the scenes. And these two are looking confused with each other. Imran Khan is angry with General Bajwa that why did he waste the opportunity during April to November 2022? General Bajwa is unable to say, but his reply will be what success did you achieve on the streets, on the basis of which we would have run the government? And the fact is that Imran Khan is the main person responsible for the failure.

PTI’s tragedy is not only that it faced political failures in the period before November 29, 2022, but this tragedy continues till this writing. The condition of the Jail Bharu movement is so shameful that even pro-PTI political analysts have not kept their fingers in their teeth but have chewed them. His total arrogance is that Khan is very popular. And the popularity of the Jail Bharu movement has come to light that a total of 83 people have been arrested from Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. And the limit is that Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s patron is seen begging for his release in the courts. Azam Swati is saying that he came to meet Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the government arrested him. The overall situation is that the Jail-Bharu movement is now turning into a Bail-Bharu movement. The same bail that the greatest of them all i.e. Imran Khan had arranged for himself before his arrest.

What was the main cause of this shame? He was very fond of breaking assemblies. The passion was fulfilled, but the throat fell. Not only Imran Khan has been attacked, but now those who wear the robes of justice and serve Tehreek-e-Insaaf have also been attacked. They spread as much as they could. Now the audios have also started coming out, while the videos are also in the pipeline. If our behavior is not corrected, very soon the people of Bachsham will see for themselves that “what is behind the cloak?”
