Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar’s anti-Pakistan statement might shock Pakistanis but our artists sitting at Akhtar’s knees and crying while Ali Zafar performed songs surprised the nation more.
Now after constantly being bashed, Ali Zafar has finally come out to address the whole situation and said that he was unaware of Javed Akhtar’s statement.
According to tot Zafar, he did not know he had said something so insensitive. He also said that many people from the fraternity who were calling out his gathering were messaging him privately for an invitation.

Ali said he is a proud Pakisatni and naturally no Pakistani would appreciate any statement against its country to people especially at an event meant to bring hearts closer than further.
Javed Akhtar was called to attend the Faiz Festival in Lahore and during the event, he ended up giving anti-Pakistan statements.
On the same day, he was hosted by Ali Zafar at his residence and treated him as a guest of honour and and sang songs for him as well.
