KARACHI: Two suspected robber were burned to death by a mob near 4-K Chowrangi in Karachi’s Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area on Saturday.
According to details, an angry mob brutally beat up two suspected robbers after they allegedly robbed a bystander in the vicinity of 4-K Chowrangi in Karachi’s Khawaja Ajmer Nagri neighborhood.
With everything they had at the time, people attacked them. Later, the outraged mob doused them in gasoline from a nearby gas station before setting them ablaze.
Meanwhile, the police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police have recovered a pistol and two mobile phones have been recovered from the suspected robbers.
In Karachi earlier in 2022, two robbers using toy firearms were apprehended and brutally beaten by locals.
The bandits were apprehended by the locals as they fled after stealing items from the crowds close to the sanitary market in Golimar.
The robbers were severely beaten by the locals before being turned over to the Karachi police. In the initial investigation, the robbers admitted to performing robberies with the toy firearms.
