According to the details, in the mid-term election of the US House of Representatives, they got 218 seats, while the Democrats could get 210 seats in the 435-member House of Representatives.
On the other hand, the Democrats took the lead in the US Senate with 1 additional seat. The Republicans lost one seat and became the second-largest party with 49 seats.
President Joe Biden is struggling to pass legislation after losing his majority in the House of Representatives, while Republican leader Mitch McConnell has emerged as the minority leader in the Senate.
