BEIJING: The representative of the National Bank of Pakistan and a large number of Pakistan traders and businessmen participated in Wenzhou International Pump and Valve Fair held in Zhejiang province of China.
Pakistan Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque addressed the audience via a video message at the opening ceremony.

Chief Representative, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Shaikh Muhammad Shariq introduced the organizing committee of the relevant officials of the Embassy of Pakistan.
He also held meetings with different companies and discussed the potential cooperation opportunities of investment and trade between pump, valve and pipe industry of China and Pakistan.
The fair based on the theme of high-end, intelligent, green and internationalization, fully integrates with the resources of Wenzhou pump and valve industry chain, and accelerates the industrial transformation and upgrading.
The exhibition provides an important platform for “going out and introducing”, helping enterprises to accelerate the development of overseas markets and seek new development opportunities on a global scale.

Wenzhou pump and valve industry, as the second largest output value of industry in Wenzhou, has nearly RMB 100 billion of annual industry. Wenzhou valve industry, in particular, accounts for 28% of China’s valve industry, of which the total value of exports or purchases exceeds USD 2 billion.
There are numerous Wenzhou valve manufacturers with large scale, some of whose registered capital and output value are over RMB 100 million.
Many enterprises cooperate with large state-owned enterprises like CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC and large overseas engineering projects.
Besides, Wenzhou owns the best stainless steel industrial base in China. It has the most competitive valve and pipe products in sanitary level in China in pharmaceutical, food and beverage and biotechnology industry.
Numerous large enterprise clusters and outward-looking investment base make pump and valve industry become a very promising investment sector.
The first exhibition of its kind drew a lot of attention and interest from the industry as more than 500 enterprises from the industry participated in the exhibition.
The high-quality pump and valve were displayed through over 1000 booths set up overt the area coving 30,000 sq meters.
