For the first time in the country’s history, a former captain of the national team was elected as PM and then he took great measures for the welfare of the poor during his tenure. With the passage of time, his popularity also increased.
Yesterday, in support of Imran Khan, a trend of minus-one not acceptable was run on social media, in which PTI workers and leaders expressed their views and expressed anger over the alleged efforts of the current government to push Imran Khan out of politics.
Does the current government really want to shake the foundations of PTI by using the minus Imran Khan formula? The answer to this question is unfortunately mostly in the affirmative because the current government has created a similar impression by framing terrorism and anti-religious cases against Imran Khan.
PTI leaders say that the kind of fascism that the current government has been using against the opposition and the media is unprecedented, however, if we look at the tenure of PTI, then too, the journalist community never considered itself safe and the freedom of the media continued to be attacked.
As a political leader, Imran Khan definitely led the PTI, but it is also a fact that he did not get a chance to govern freely as a Prime Minister because the federal government came into being on a power-sharing basis preventing Imran Khan from freely making decisions.
The MQM-P also deprived the PTI government of its last crutch by signing a pact with the Sindh Government in order to gain different positions in the province. As a result, a no-confidence motion was tabled and Imran Khan lost the premiership.
Today, Imran Khan is demanding general elections to get the post of prime minister again, but the incumbent government is not ready to announce early elections. It seems the entire gang is afraid of a single man.
