Need for justice

Editorial by Editorial

After the establishment of Pakistan, the leadership and governance of the country was taken over by the members of the assembly, ministers, judiciary, and the Pakistan army took over and with each passing day, various questions were raised about the governance by the people.

The above pillars of the state performed the duties of guiding, leading and governing the people in their respective departments. Politicians have always said that they have come to power for the welfare and service of the people, but it is sad to say that this was not a reality.

Similarly, the judiciary of the country also raised the slogan of the rule of law and started working on various cases vigorously. With the passage of time, the poor realized that the rule of justice is only for the rich and for us only the rounds of the court and nothing else.

Even today, when a rich man’s son attacks a poor farmer’s house and abducts his daughter, there is no one to question him, and if a poor man gets angry and slaps a rich man, a case would be registered against him.

According to the Hadith of Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW), Bani Israel perished from the same things. If Fatima bint Muhammad was there, I would have cut off her hand.

As if the state used to favor the rich over the poor in the past and is doing the same today. If anyone showed true justice by implementing it, then it was only Muhammad and his true followers, and that was the state of Madinah which was exemplified by former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The state of Medina can undoubtedly be described as a model of true justice and fairness where the black had no superiority over the white and the white over the black except in piety. The rulers used to get up at night to check the well-being of the people and find out if anyone went to bed hungry.

Today, if you go to the streets and roads of Pakistan, you see that the poor are sleeping with the sky as a blanket, deprived of roofs, and the rich are enjoying the dream of a rabbit on the bed of comfort. Is this the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that the Quaid-e-Azam had promised us?

It is necessary to establish a system of justice and justice in accordance with Islamic laws and to provide basic rights to every human being without the distinction between the rich and the poor, in order to make the promise of the Quaid-e-Azam and the concept of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan a reality.
