The new episodes of the American science fiction horror drama television series of Stranger Things have finally arrived on Netflix.
The hit sci-fi drama – which follows a group of friends on the search for answers after witnessing supernatural activity has streamed its season 4’s first part yesterday.
Plot
Season 4’s volume one takes place six months after the Battle of Starcourt and sees the residents of Hawkins struggling to deal with being separated for the first time.
Cast
The major cast includes Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.
The same old villain?
Certainly not; a new evil named Vecna threatens the lives of those still living in the small Indiana town. Unlike the Demogorgons and the Mind Flayer, Vecna looks somewhat human-like, and there’s a reason for that.
Towards the end of Vol 1, it is revealed that Vecna was once just a boy. What’s more, he was the first youngster to be experimented on at Hawkins National Laboratory and, in a former life, went by ‘One’.
Volume 2
Stranger Things season 4, part 2 will be released on Netflix on July 1. It will consist of just two episodes: episode 8 and episode 9.
Time
The new episodes on Netflix will be out at 3am Eastern and 2am Central – while if you’re in the UK, then they’ll be available at 8am.
