In response to a recent question from the Indian media, renowned film director, producer, and screenwriter Mahesh Bhatt categorically denied all such reports.
“These are just rumours. Nothing like this is happening. These things have been going on for a long time,” Bhatt said. It is to be noted that the rumours of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s marriage have been circulating for a long time.

Later in this regard, Kapoor had said that the good news for the fans is that Alia and he intend to get married soon, yes we will get married soon, he said.
Furthermore, Ranbir Kapoor’s father-in-law had said that as far as he knows, there is no such thing. “If we have not made any preparations, how can marriage be so fast?” he said.
