Facing the no-confidence motion, Prime Minister Imran Khan has a number of issues that have been proving him a failed politician for 25 years, but now they have proved him a failed Prime Minister. His biggest problem is his illusion that he is a politically charismatic figure. One cannot agree for a moment that he is a political charismatic figure. And he has the power to unite the people. Had it been so, it would not have taken him 25 years to come to power. He could not even politically influence the generation that witnessed his World Cup victory. So whatever charisma we see in the form of his meetings is the charisma of his beloved empires, not of Imran Khan’s attractive personality or speech. Even Khan Sahib himself has been uttering the virtues of “impartial empire” in his every meeting for the last several days but no one seems to be affected. Imran Khan’s second problem is his ego and his improper tone for his opponents. It is a characteristic of the same ego that even if you mention carrot, radish, they will say “No one knows carrot, radish better than me” while the situation is that he does not even know politics. Politicians blame each other. It happens in politics all over the world. Didn’t US Democrats accuse opposition president Donald Trump of being a Russian agent? And isn’t the Republican Party accusing incumbent President Joe Biden of conspiring with the Chinese? And that his son Hunter Biden took money from the Chinese? All this works in politics but political parties do politics together. They also have mutual meetings and mutual affairs. Just last year, the N-League and the PPP accused each other, but today they are united again. Imran Khan’s situation is that the identity of all his allies is that they are representatives of the Establishment. His politics always follow the whims of the establishment. Apart from these parties, there is not a single political party with which they have proper connections. That was before 2018, when these allegations were made, some people thought that they were telling the truth. Now they have entered the era when their elected government has completed three and a half years. Leave the Sharif brothers, whom he used to call Diesel, he has not been able to register a case against him. Even a small attempt to arrest them? The situation is that the Sharif brothers who have been accused of money laundering and trying to weigh frogs in the UK, have received clearance from the UK. And this is not a simple clearance, it is a big thing.
Imran Khan’s third problem is that even after 25 years, he could not learn politics. His whole politics is that I will surprise on such and such date. And even he plays this politics not against the opponents, but against his own workers. But every time the issue with the poor worker becomes so prevalent that he went to see the spectacle but the spectacle did not take place. As an opposition political analyst, it struck me that he would go to the meeting on the 27th as a resigned Prime Minister. I say this because it would have been a great political move in those circumstances. He resigned on the afternoon of the 27th and went to the meeting. After his move, the opposition would not have any move left and his workers would make noise everywhere that Khan had kicked the government. The whole inclination of the media would have come towards them. Because the current opposition would get entangled in the monkey distribution of ministries. Instead of fighting them, the opposition would be entangled with the ministries. But he came to the meeting as the Prime Minister and returned as the Prime Minister to face the no-confidence motion.
He has no idea how much the “former prime minister” is dear to the media. It is not remembered that this was the media which followed the Nawaz Sharif after the Panama scandal.
