The political climate is changing once again. And the signs of this change are appearing at the most important levels from which this expression always begins. Before moving on to recent climate change, it is important to understand how climate change manifests itself and how it achieves its desired goals.
First of all, it must be understood that change in the political climate is not natural but artificial. Therefore, the whole orbit of this change depends on mood of political system’s owners. No matter how much our politicians do things like struggle, sacrifice and bringing color, but the reality is that they can never do anything on their own.
The clearest example of this is Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Long March and the subsequent PDM movement. Through these two political activities, the politicians had tried to change the political climate on their own, but they failed. Why ? Because the owners did not accept the change. So, after a few dull blows, they all went home.
I also misunderstand that Punjab has woken up for the first time in our political history and for the first time, change will come not only against the will of the owners but also against the owners. But now, there is no such understanding. And God willing, this time too the political climate is changing as it always had. The only difference is that last time there were meetings with Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri in London and this time with a sick politician.
Whenever the owners decide to make a change, they first contact the political party that is under attack. And they talk very simply. For example, the owners say: “our hopes for the current government have been dashed. We think you were right. But the problem is that if you are brought in, you would take revenge.”
In this way, the defeated political party assures in every possible way that it has no vengeance in its heart. When this belief is fully realized then the game enters the second stage. In the second phase, the most important role is played by the media. Some renowned journalists are told to break story that “change is coming”.
Such journalists do the same as they are told. That is, the puppet role of their share. As soon as this news breaks, some other well-known personalities – who swear allegiance to the sanctity of the pen – are signaled to air this breaking news. After hearing all this, the common man immediately this about the stance of party – which is soon assuming the office.
So in the next phase, a second-line leader of this party is taken to the line and the question is put forward: Is their affairs really settled and change is coming? He denies the allegations. The leader says his party does not believe in any behind-the-scenes compromise. But this denial is also pre-planned.
Next day, another leader of the same party, on TV, responds to the ‘change’ question: “What about change? It can happen at any time. Politicians never close the door to dialogue. And dialogue is for change.”
Now it is the turn of the third stage, i.e. social media. Now there will be a scuffle between the two political parties. Some will say change is coming, some will deny it. And the owners, watching the whole spectacle with a puff of cigar, look forward to the moment when the temperature reaches the level required for decisive action.
In the meantime, if it is seen that some ambiguity is still there which is slowing down the pace of temperature rise, then some well-known rural astrologers of the country are bothered. Astrologists’ interviews become adornments of newspapers and electronic media, in which they make it clear through the tricks of the stars that change is coming.
On such occasions, Saturn must be entered in an important house of the ruler’s horoscope, but in order to create weight in the matter, two or four more stars of the forbidden type are also delivered.
Now the atmosphere is completely ready. In the fourth stage, the judiciary comes into action. And so begins the process of making decisions that spread the light of happiness on the faces of angry political party workers and allow them to celebrate and tell everyone that sacrifices are bringing change, justice is being done.
Thus, the judiciary which has been abused for five years is now acknowledged to be honest and trustworthy. But nothing changes. The only difference is that now the parties who define and criticize the judiciary will change. For example, for the last five years, Najam Sethi’s position has been that the judiciary is stifling justice. But now that the season is starting, you will find them praising the judiciary.
In this whole environment, if any arrogant person asked the spokesman of the owners: “Is the deal final?” You will be taught by the actions only that bosses have nothing to do with politics. Now even if you eat almonds, you will understand that this is what the owners have to say. But if you only eat lentil bread, then you have to say on social media: “They have denied it. There is no change, all nonsense.”
So! You’ve seen three phases since November. And we must know very well that at that time we have entered the fourth, that is, the historic decision-making stage of the judiciary. Just let a few more historical decisions come and then you will see the fifth and sixth steps for yourself. The fifth step is the departure of the ruler whose house has been invaded by Saturn.
