Star-studded army drama ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ is indeed one of the biggest television projects of 2021.
The drama has everything; emotions, motivation, hope, and the quote which precisely describes the play that ‘nothing is impossible’.
However, the recent episode of ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ featuring Mahjabeen Mastan, played by Kubra Khan as a lawyer turned cadet is something disturbing to watch.
From the very start, the portrayal of Khan has been unrealistic. Born and raised in a financially stable family, she grew up to be a sane woman. Not only good and captivating in looks, but she is also a great lawyer who turns out to be seeking something for her identity in Pakistan’s army yet she finds basic rights of institution to ignore easily.

Despite being everything, Mahjabeen’s character has been portrayed as somewhat dumb as she uses makeup. The makers despite showing strong characters in the drama fail to showcase a woman who loves self-care as ‘funny’ and ‘dumb’.
Even an ordinary human would know that life as an army officer is not a piece of cake but still, she finds it confusing to understand the basic rules of living in a training camp. She would literally bring bags of makeup and stuff and still be unaware of the uniform code.
P.S. Not everyone who applies makeup is dumb or stupid.
The character of Mahjabeen is so amazing, she chooses dogs over humans because these animals are loyal, she is kind and humble, helps Yumna’s character, and gives her own shoes. She is indeed a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Mahjabeen Mastaan of Sinf-e-Aahan is a girl who has everything anyone could ever dream of, still finds herself unfortunate because of her parents’ unending arguments and disputes.
