Kumail Nanjiani the famous Pakistani-American actor has arrived at the ‘Eternals’ premiere in LA with a rocking purple sherwani.
The first one from the Pakistani industry to enter in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kumail Nanjiani wore a purple sherwani at the event, has won over the hearts of Pakistanis, as the actor has presented its deep-rooted culture at the International level.
Nanjiani is playing a superhero role in the movie ‘Eternals’. The actor’s mother has helped him in finding a suitable designer to make his appearance worth remembering at the event on Monday.
Moreover, while talking to a news source Nanjiani revealed that how his mother was a saver for him in finding the best to wear. He said, “I wanted to wear a Sherwani because 1. They look awesome and 2. My costume in the film always reminded me of Sherwanis. And I wanted to use a designer in Pakistan, not just a Pakistani designer in the U.S. So I called my mom, she gave me names of three amazing designers in Pakistan.”

However, after his mother’s recommendation, his stylist immediately connected with a Pakistani designer Umar Syed. The stylist also sent some of the inside looks of Nanjiani from the movie to the designer to get an idea, also Nanjiani describing the color of the costume said, “I wanted the colors to be similar to my costume colors, and purple and gold are a beautiful combination. The paisley pattern is very traditional as well.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nanjiani has played the role of a superhero in ‘Eternals’ along with Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden. The movie is set to be released on November 15, 2021.
