After a local court has indicted Zahir Jaffer the prime accused of Noor Mukadam’s murder, several celebs have reacted to the news positively.
On Thursday, a local court has presented its indictment in the case of Zahir Jaffer, who killed a 27-year old Noor Mukadam, daughter of former Pakistani ambassador. The orders by the court have met some positive reactions by celebs who presented their two cents on the indictment including actor Zahid Ahmed, who posted while taking on to his social media account that, “Finally, words of hope for mankind!”

Moreover, famous writer Fatima Bhutto also presented her views on the indictment of Noor’s murderer saying, “Zahir Jaffer has absolutely no remorse. If ever one needed proof of his rage and lack of repentance it is this chilling statement: ‘Noor and I had fought. It was my fault, but she was also angry,’ he claimed.” Model Zara Peerzada being vocal on the statement, also posted her status on social media with a hashtag for demanding justice for Noor.

However, according to sources, during the proceedings of the trial, Zahir Jaffer confessed to killing Noor brutally and later beheaded her. In a mystifying statement, he also said that, Noor herself has presented to sacrifice and it is permissible in Islam. Zahir further pleaded to the court to send him to house arrest as he cannot live like that in jail or give him a death sentence.

Meanwhile, turning to Noor’s father in court, Zahir said, they both were in a relationship for over three years and pleaded before him that he should have mercy on him and he didn’t mind if he, Noor’s father, wants to take his life. Zahir further stated that, they (the therapy work staff) were responsible for all the things that happened because, he asked them to wait outside the house, while I and Noor were discussing our matter, but they barged into my house which ended up murdering her.
Earlier, on July 20, a case of the brutal murder of 27-year-old Noor Mukadam was reported from Islamabad’s F-7/4 neighborhood. Zahir Jaffer the accused was arrested from the crime scenes on the same day.
