Ayesha Akram has alleged that Rambo had blackmailed her and taken Rs1 million from her (Online)

Ayesha Akram, a TikToker, recently held Rambo responsible for the tragic incident with her at Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day.

In another twist in the controversial harassment incident, Ayesha has blamed Rambo for everything. The concern is why she is blaming the alleged suspect now after almost two months of the incident that occurred on 14th August.

The case

The incident occurred on 14th August when hundreds of youngsters were celebrating Independence Day at the park. Police moved into action after videos of the episode went viral and sparked an outrage on social media.

According to the FIR of the incident, the complainant stated that she, along with six companions, was filming a video near Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day when around 300 to 400 people ‘attacked us’.

She said that she and her companions made a lot of effort to escape from the crowd. Observing the situation, the park’s security guard opened the gate to the enclosure around Minar-e-Pakistan, the FIR quoted her as saying.

“However, the crowd was huge and people were scaling the enclosure and coming towards us. People were pushing and pulling me to the extent that they tore my clothes. Several people tried to help me but the crowd was too huge and they kept throwing me in the air,” she said.

She further stated that her companions were also assaulted. During the struggle, her ring and earrings were “forcibly taken”, in addition to a mobile phone of one of her companions, his identity card, and Rs15,000 that he had on his person.

Legal action

Sections 354A, 382, 147, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code have been added to the First Information Report (FIR) of the Minar-e-Pakistan assault case. The lawsuit includes provisions for tearing a woman’s clothes, theft, attempted murder, injuring, rioting, and illegal mobs.

Who is Rambo?

Rambo is the team member and also rumoured fiance of Ayesha Akram who was arrested on Friday in the Minar-e-Pakistan harassment case that occurred on 14th August.

Surprisingly Rambo was one of the men who saved Ayesha on Independence day, he was the witness of the heinous act that Ayesha was put through and he is also the same Rambo who accompanied Ayesha during every police proceeding; from filing an FIR to asking people to support the TikToker, Rambo stood beside her.

Why was he arrested?

On Friday, Lahore police arrested Rambo, and seven others after a blackmailing complaint were filed with the police by Ayesha who held him responsible for the tragic incident.

On Friday, Ayesha Akram submitted a written statement to Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) Investigation, while asserting that Rambo had planned the tragic incident. “Rambo has secretly shoot indecent videos of mine and is now blackmailing me,” she claimed.

According to the statement, Rambo forced the TikToker to give him Rs1 million and was now demanding more through blackmail.  “I am tired of paying Rambo, so I have decided to seek the help of the police,” Ayesha said while asking the officials to arrest Rambo and provide security to her. The female Tiktoker further alleged that Rambo used to run a TikTok gang along with his associate named Badshah.

Stance of Rambo

On the other hand, Rambo claimed innocence saying it was not his decision to take the social media sensation to Minar-e-Pakistan after cops apprehended him for ‘blackmailing’ the victim.  According to Rambo’s preliminary statement, he negated taking Ayesha to the park saying it was not his decision.

In a video statement, the accused said it was the charged mob that molested and manhandled the TikTok star. Narrating his side of the story, he mentioned that he took Ayesha Akram out from Minar e Pakistan with great difficulty, and ended up getting behind bars for ‘saving the girl’.

At the end of the clip, Rambo mentioned that another guy was supposed to visit Minar e Pakistan with Ayesha however he canceled the plan at the last minute due to his brother’s demise.

Confusion in statement

Earlier, the TikToker claimed that Rambo belonged to a humble family and she supported him financially and treated him like a younger brother. Even after the horrific incident, Ayesha was witnessed many times together with Ramno in one frame, they both made numourous videos together seeking justice for Ayesha.
